Conditioned transport & warehousing: a smooth workflow

Frigo Group Logistics provides daily conditioned road transport in both the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. They offer refrigerated transport, frozen transport and ambient (dry goods) transport or groupage, with their own trucks and preferred partners who meet strict ISO and IFS standards. Thanks to a modern fleet, real-time monitoring and planners with multilingual skills, they guarantee reliability, even to Spain and Portugal. 

Their warehousing facilities include frozen and refrigerated warehouses, order picking, import/export processing and customs clearance. With advanced WMS systems, stock and orders are accurately linked via EDI, guaranteeing efficiency and flexibility.

Meat transport: quality and hygiene guaranteed

Meat transport is a specialised branch within Frigo. Meat is highly perishable and requires precise temperature control, strict hygiene rules and traceability. Frigo has all the necessary permits (such as K and B) and complies with HACCP standards and IFS/ISO certifications.

Upon arrival, pallets of meat are cooled to −24°C within 24 hours via freezer tunnels. They are then sustainably packaged, individually weighed and labelled with SSCC stickers by the WMS. The transport drivers are professionally trained. Frigo even handles export shipments to distant destinations such as China or Hong Kong, including the necessary certifications.

Pallet transport: from FTL to mixed pallets

In addition to refrigerated transport, Frigo Group also offers full pallet transport for both ambient and frozen goods. Both full truck loads (FTL) and groupage (shared loads) are supported within Europe, including the Benelux, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. 

The process is TOE-compliant from the cold store. They offer customised services such as order picking for mixed pallets, restacking from wooden to plastic pallets, height adjustment or wrapping. Track & trace guarantees full visibility of the transport process. This keeps lead times short and costs low.

Technology & sustainability: innovation at the heart of everything we do

Technology is a key pillar at Frigo. They use modern on-board computers, transport management systems and real-time temperature monitoring in their vehicles. Their fleet complies with Euro 6 standards and is environmentally friendly. 

The new triple hub in Moerdijk offers storage capacity for 90,000 pallets, with approximately 90% freezer space and its own quay. The location is energy-neutral thanks to solar energy and cold buffering technology.
